Thank you to everyone who made this artistic celebration possible. We'll see you again next year.
Art Basel is an annual event that stages the world's premier modern and contemporary art shows and fairs in Miami Beach. We're excited to bring this same energy to Delray Beach for the first time while also using the occasion to help children in need. GusColors was raised in Managua, Nicaragua, where his mother along with other prominent women in the country founded CONANCA, a non-profit working directly with the cancer department of La Mascota Children's Hospital in Managua.
As part of our creative initiative for good, proceeds will be donated to Dani Girl Foundation the Miami-based partner of CONANCA. All funds will be used to provide chemotherapy for sick children, as well as meals and accommodations for their families. All of this at no cost to the patients and their caregivers.
An online platform for emerging artists to showcase and sell their work, with the opportunities to participate in major art fairs, and host pop-up shows. The company is led by Petrina Easton, an accomplished artist, curator and long-time resident of Delray Beach.
A contemporary artist who has been a central figure in the Delray Beach art scene for two decades. Beginning as an abstract expressionist, today his work is immediately recognizable by his elongated figures, engaging textures, and rich color palette.
Dani Girl Foundation strives to help poor children in Nicaragua who are diagnosed with cancer and are unable to afford treatment. Their partnership with CONANCA, helps provide chemotherapy for sick children as well as room & board for their families.
CONANCA is the Nicaraguan Commission for Aid to Children with Cancer. It is a non- profit established in 1994. Their main objective is to provide comprehensive support to all boys and girls who are treated in the Hemato- Oncology Department of the national reference children's hospital, Manuel de Jesús Rivera "La Mascota" in Nicaragua.
